I'm sorry and I apologize before hand....but, after you Big 12 is terrible comment and now this....

WV up 11 at the half? Equals struggling? What kind of basketball do you watch or expect? This isn't a tournament where everyone gets in...these are 64 of the best teams in college basketball. Just because you're a 13, 14, or 15 seed doesn't mean you are a slouch. Most of these teams are conference champions with good basketball players. Again, I'm sorry if I seem rude, just don't quite understand where you are coming from.

Ok guys answer this question.....was Penders a better coach because his teams over-achieved as opposed to Barnes whose sometimes under-achieve? I know Barnes teams have gone further and are consistantly ranked higher than Tom's did save the one that went to the elite 8....loved that team....BMW.

Exactly what I was thinking, even though it obviously isnt the best 64 in the country... the at large bids are the best shot for the best in the country and the automatic qualifiers are the best in their conference not the country. BUT, some of these mid major conferences are not second tier anymore. There are always a couple 16 and 15 seeds that arent even going to contend for a win but you have got to be careful because even a team like OHIO who wasnt even .500 in a weak conference can knock off a great team like Georgetown if you take them lightly. Not only did they win but they put up almost 100 points!!! Everyone comes to play in March

Penders couldn't hold Rick's Jock, does that answer your question BOB?

Dude i'm at work. When I checked it WV was up by 1 point. I'm not watching it live. When I see a 2 seed up by one point with about 6 minutes left in the half I would say they were struggling. I didn't say they were going to loose or they sucked just pointed out at the time they were struggling which they were.

You mean LOSE? LOL, Sorry, I just have a pet peeve with TBH'ers misspelling and mis-using the same words over and over again. Don't get offended, I'm just messin' with ya. There are a myriad of TBH'ers who say loose for lose. Defence for defense, and my new favorite is Advise for Advice.

My english lesson for the day.

Arkansas Pine-Bluff will lose to Duke today.

John Wall of Kentucky dove for the loose ball.

Texas did not play excellent defense yesterday.

Defence is not a word, ask the Cornell players.

Rick Barnes needs to ask Bill Self for offensive strategy advice.

I would not advise anyone to bet against the Kansas Jayhawks in this tournament.

              Sorry, I'm bored....

Sorry you have nothing more productive to do than point out my grammatical errors. not really paying attention to my typing 100% while i'm on a conference call with 3 people..

Oh and by the way misusing does not have a hyphen in it.

Hey smart has UT started getting better at the plate b/c I know their pitching is lights out. LSU is screwed without their Ace pitcher Ranaudo. He may not be back for a long time.

You're right LOL, I stand corrected. And, no I don't have anything more productive to do today. I'm sitting in the back of a car, trying to watch basketball on a sketchy computer screen while my internet service goes in and out, and we still have 597 more miles to drive today through Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

a lot of teams "struggle" in the first half if by struggling you mean "didn't take some team they've never heard of very seriously and were playing at 10 in the morning in some unknown half-empty arena."

then they wake up and destroy who they are playing. wv is a good case. Kansas was actually behind Lehigh for a couple of minutes.

I'd define "struggling" as being down to a lower ranked team late in the second half. i.e. Villanova struggled to get a win yesterday over Robert Morris.

They have had some good high scoring games recently but are by no means blowing everybody out consistently. The recent lost to Rice hurt after going 12-1 over the last 13 games...

I saw the Renaudo injury the other day....I don't wish any ill will on individual players but he will not be missed if LSU makes it to the CWS..
