I know Vegas is great if your into Gambling but the chance to "Drive" only 8 hours to see the NFR I'd could tolerate Dallas for a weekend

Vegas will not let it go without a fight, because it is one the biggest draws that they have now bringing in over $50 million to the city over 10 days but the Vegas economy is struggling. If you think it cant happen just ask the people in OKC. Its not about how much Jerry is worth its about is ability to market it and raise money from sponsors and you can't say he isn't good at that! It might not sell out but Thomas & Mack holds 18,000 and the deathstar (jerryworld) holds 80,000! I love Vegas but if its a better deal for the cowboys I'm all for it.

Understand from some DFW attorneys that he did approach them as well as just about everyone else who has a large event, but not going to reach an agreement -----YET. Never know what happens in the future years on down the road.

i heard they were gonna try and get a hockey game to happen with the roof open like they have up north. i don't know how that would work. i think it would have to be one of those freak days we sometimes have.

Not sure if they still do this, but Binion's used to pay for all contestant's entry fees. Benny Binion, (who moved from DFW to Vegas) brought the NFR to Vegas. I think it was originally in Ok. City (??).
I doubt it ever leaves Vegas.

I agree with one exception... say for example he brings it to Dallas and doubles the added money! this would mean that the rounds would pay over $30,000+ and the average would pay over $90,000+. I think if that could happen then the contestants wouldn't care where it was and they could go gamble in vegas some other time. That being said, sounds like its not gonna happen any time soon!
