    Game Warden Run In.

After readin a couple posts on Game Wardens here on the green screen, I thought I would post my experience from this weekend. A buddy of mine and I were out on Lake Ivie this Saturday doin a little early year bass fishing. We caught six keepers with one bein right around 7 lbs. Anyways, to get to the point. A Warden stopped us at about noon checked us out, very nice friendly guy. Anyways, about three hours later on the other end of the lake we were checked by a much younger Warden. This gentleman again was polite, friendly, and curtious enough to say he wouldn't hassle us after learning we had been checked earlier that morning. Anyways, both Wardens made the interaction really easy, plus it helps when you are on the right side of the law. Those guys deserve alot more curtisy and respect from a large number of people in the hunting and non-hunting worlds. They have a tough enough job as it is and we don't need to be makin it any more difficult for them. So if you are a Texas Game Warden that is a member of this site or you just stop in for a visit, Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. It is greatly appreciated.

No bad run ins for me either. Most people that have a bad run in were doing something wrong in the first place. The GW's do deserve some cedit though. Afterall they're helping preserve the outdoor activities we all live for.

Run-in = encounter, interaction, conversation, arrest, citation, friendly talk.
