fly- you do realize that its Mothers Day weekend. I could swing Saturday if the boys don't plan on a coastal trip with Mom. They usually take advantage of those type days to plan a trip for "Mom" but it always seems to be something they enjoy.

I swear I need to start asking my wife before I plan my adventures I always seem to pick dates that turn out to be holidays, b-days and things like that.
How about the weekend before mothers day? or the weekend after mothers day?

I'm game to float somewhere.

I'm pretty spoiled near home, the Guadalupe flows about 3 miles west of my home and haven't really dropped into other scenes outside of here, the Pedernales and the Colorado. I'm pressed to hit the Upper Laguna here in the next few weeks, it's prime for fat specs right now. My Ocean Kayak is pretty beat up now, it's been abused but the hull hasn't been compromised yet, scarred from stem to stern. The Lupe where I fish, half the time I have to pull through shallow rocky sections to hit deeper holes. It's the same deal on the Pedernales in many areas.
