I heard the same thing also what jbitt4x4 and Firetx12 said,The IRS was going to take his house,so he burned it down and he went to the George Town Airport and stole a plane and did that,a witness said that it sounded like the plane was running wide open when it hit the building.

I tried to read his rambling diatribe, and all I can say is "don't blame me".

Anybody heard from BigL? He works close to there so I assume he's OK, I have a phone call into him at work.

By this time, I’m thinking that it might be good for a change. Bye to California, I’ll try Austin for a while. So I moved, only to find out that this is a place with a highly inflated sense of self-importance and where **** little real engineering work is done.

I don't know what dept of the IRS was in that building, but all the work in terms of receiving, reviewing and facilitation of refunds comes out of the building on 35 and 71/ben white out south.

I think it was the auditing people in this building..

Apparently he suffered from a severe case of the "poor me's".

Otherwise, I thought his little exit strategy note was well written.

Austin Police Chief is saying on air that the news reports are being irresponsible with reporting misinformation.

He says the plane was not stolen.

And true apparently. CCN says he stole the plane from the Georgetown airport after burning his house down.

Sorry, just saw Mary's post about this being misinformation.....back to my cave.

In the story portion below the video.

It also mentioned the plane was registered to the same man whose house was burning, so not sure if it was stolen or not.
If they (media) would read what was wrote in the story below the video, it clearly states the plane was registered to the same person whose house was on fire.

"The plane was registered to Joseph Andrew Stack, the Federal Aviation Administration told an Austin TV station, whose house in north Austin burned Thursday morning." per KWTX.com news story

Seems to be a suicide attack from a man with a long run in with the IRS. Local news said he posted a note on the web beforehand.
