Among other things it sounds like he was one of those hard-core tax protester types. You know, the guy who starts out saying "The Federal Income Tax is unconstitutional!!" "You don't legally have to pay your taxes, I can prove it!" Then they start quoting from books by Irwin Schiff who is the pope of the tax protest movement (He's also in prison for....not paying taxes.) I've dealt with a few of these guys over the years and there is no arguing with them.

kind of wondering why it took this long for a wing nut to lose it and do something like this...but it finally happened...and this most likely won't be the last...Last edited by blacksunshine; 02-18-2010, 03:07 PM.

And here is the ONE thing that is eating away at me. If this guy had the IRS take away his life 4 times, and still had enough money to afford a $250K+ airplane to fly into a building, and another $40K plane to leave on the ground, plus a house to burn down, and not to mention vehicles I am sure, how bad was it really for this guy?
Lazy hippie non conformist that just didnt want to get with the program, and it has been and will always be SOMEONE else's fault...

You may be correct, but from his side of it (admittedly probably scewed) it sounds like he was trying to do what was right and legal, and everytime he seemed to step in a big pile of...manure. Many of the things he said about our gorvernment are beliefs of mine, especially as of lately. The bailouts are rediculous, and with who's money...mine and yours! Tax protestor...maybe, but how else are we supposed to get "representation." Remember, history repeats itself, and no matter what the history books teach, the American Revolution of the late 1700's was NOT solely or even mainly a result of a desire for religious freedom but rather the result of taxation without representation. The Boston Tea Party was only one example proving this, there were others but they don't teach them in schools. Religious freedom was but a mere PART of the reason for the revolution. I genuinely fear that if our government doesn't wake up and begin to listen to the people, we will see more and more of these "nut jobs" committing desperite actis of violence until our great nation crumbles into anarchy and revolution.
