Whatasize is the John Wayne of that area....he will buy ranches on the spot...sometimes without even seeing them....after he buys them he gives them to some tire guy from Taft....not sure of there connection.

Thats so funny because I grew up with Lauren Rooke (daughter) and she mentioned to me a couple months ago about someone from out of the country was looking at it and I think even made an offer but it ended up falling through. I didn't know they ended up closing. Weird.

A fishing buddy hunts there and they get between 4500.00 and 6000.00 for the lease rights; depending on what they want to kill. Good deer area from what I can see. They sell hunts on the place as well it is a very large ranch.
