I'll second that! Seems to work fine in the towns but nothing between the city limits.

AT&T works great for me in Richland Springs. Verizon doesnt work for anyone. We have a cell tower 100 yards behind our camp.

One dead spot on our entire Speaks property and it's where camp is...funny it will ring, but you cannot connect consistently. Walk from camp 100 yards and it works. My lovely wife thinks I set up camp here on purpose! Not true, but we aren't moving it either!

At our bowhunting lease outside Salado, we all seem to get pretty good service now, wasn't the case just a few short years ago. My dad has nextel on his personal phone and it never works, but I used to have Nextel too and I couldnt make a call in my house in the dead center of Houston or driving down highway 290 or anywhere in the loop, so Nextel is a bad comparison. I have Verizon and my brother has Sprint, both of ours work all the way around there.

At our ranch around the 3 sisters area of Real County, there is no service for anyone. I dont care if you have Luke Wilson standing on the Verizon guy's shoulders with a satellite antenna in his hands, he ain't getting anything out there.

At my father in law's place in George West, we all get service. Myself and my wife and sister in law and mother in law ll have Verizon and they work fine. Father in law has AT&T and he is just fine out there.

South of San Angelo AT&T and their local service is the best signal.....Sprint users might as well check their phones at the gate...

AT&T at Goldthwaite. A local business called MID-TEX Cellular has good coverage as well but a small home area with roaming charges outside of it.

AT&T is the only that works for me. Even have coverage on top of my mountain in WV.

Thanks for all the input, looks like I may give AT$T a try once my Verizon contract is up.

Yuri I hunt North of you close to Hare on the Williamson/Milam County line. I have AT&T and it's spotty out there at best. There are places on the lease where there's service coverage at all.

AT&T is the only way to go. I had Verizon for years but it never worked wherever I was
hunting, why pay for something that doesn't work?
