You could see my arrow because of the Red Luminock attached to my Easton Axis Arrow decorated with Camron's custom wraps and a blue and white Blazer vanes. All this couldn't have been possible without the help of my Scott release that I carry to the stand in my Primos vest that is also under my leopold optics and if I looked through those optics right now as they are hanging I could see my Danner Pronghorn boots I'm wearing over my BPS lifetime socks. And I can't forget the Little Blue Pill that I take everytime I go on a hunting trip so I don't roll out of the bed.
It would be great to be on a pro staff.
Thanks for keeping up with the "currently best" products.

I saw those at ATA, are you the one that came up with that concept? I have been communicating with Jim in regards to a pair. I am looking forward to trying them out.

Prostaffers mooch for anything and everything they can get for free. In turn, Prostaffers complain a lot when they are asked to do something to earn their free stuff.
Now how are we gonna get Ground Threat and Buck Medley on the Outdoor Produkshun crew with comments like this?..........

I don't get paid and have to attend 10 events per year representing Mossy Oak. I love it as it allows me to get discounts on gear and to meet a lot of people with the same love of hunting that I have.
I also get to network with industry reps that at some point may allow me to get on with one of the companies that I represent on a permanent basis.

Though thats why I'm probably not pro staff material. If I'm working for free and have manditory time, those 10 events a year I think are better served for me either helping kids get involved, teaching a hunters ed class, helping bowhunter lobbying orgs. (p&y and LSBA) or a conservation group. With the most weight going to the kids.

Keep in mind that the 10 events per year do not have to be marketing events or hunting shows. ATA shoots, teaching hunter's ed, club shoots, archery in the schools, all of these count towards your events. You simply act as a professional and promote your sport.
So while I appreciate your point of view and agree wholeheartedly with your priorities, remember that there is more than one way to represent a company. You just have to think outside the box!!

I have had the privilege of being on a pro staff crew since 1996. Worked for several different companies and will hopefully do it forever. I get a day rate plus perks. Most of time we are not there as "salesman", but to represent the company and the event that we are there for. We mostly answer questions and let the customer decide, but make sure they buy something. I do not have a quote of events, but if you do not work, you are usually not asked to come back.

yup, you guys described me perfectly!
A promotional shooter for a shop or company has the duty of promoting the sport of archery while wearing that particular shop or companies names, logos, and brand signatures. It links their brand to folks that care about the sport of archery and show an interest in getting others involved. My first PUBLIC opportunity to promote archery is going to be the March 20th in Dallas at the Diva Outdoors Clinic. If you have a female family member or friend that you would like to get involved in the outdoors, THIS would be a great place to introduce them to it! www.divawow.com for more information.

I hope no one takes offense to this statement.
All of the "pro-staffers" or people that I know are trying to get on as a "pro-staffer" are only doing it for their OWN ego. I'm sure there are legit people doing this, but I've seen too many doing it for the title or for the freebies. Maybe it's a common thing or maybe it's just the kind of people that I've run across. Either way, I think it takes away from their personality almost to the point that I don't want to be around them.
I am however intrigued about txdukklr's pro staff and would be intrested in more information about that one!
