smart- i'll be the first one to tell you i take three good meals a day for granted, so what, so does everybody else on this website. i dont think anybody is starving around here.
so you are saying that you disagree that the harder you work for something the more gratifying it is when you achieve it?
what in the hell is the "lucky sperm club" you lost me on that!
all im saying is ive had my share of unsuccessful hunting trips in my day, but they still provided me with great memories. the fruits of your labor are always sweeter when you have been eating sour grapes.
i never said i have progressed to a trophy level, because i dont have the income to get on a "trophy lease." biggest deer i have ever killed is 118" 8 pt.
and i have been hunting for 20 years or more, but if god ever blesses me with the deer of a lifetime (150+) i truly believe i will appreciate it more because of all the time and effort i have put into accomplishing it.

I was merely giving an example of how there are things that some take for granted that you don't and... some things you do take for granted others don't. Always somebody poorer than you and always somebody richer than you. There are many different levels of hard work and nobody should be judged on how they got there. Compared to a poverty stricken city kid that loves to watch hunting shows but didn't have the parents, money or means to go hunting, you and all of us are rich beyond our means because we are able to hunt.. How would you feel if he judged you as not appreciating what you have because you didn't have to work as hard him to get a good deer???

LOL on the lucky sperm club.....that's a term some around here call those being born into more money than them. For example Michael Jordan's and Troy Aikman's kids are in that club.

so you are saying that you disagree that the harder you work for something the more gratifying it is when you achieve it?
Not at all....but while some work their azz off on a lease to make it the best they can with little money made at their job, some are working their azz off at their job or school to be able to afford what ALL of us want to achieve. Two different routes......same endgame. Neither should be faulted or judged any different in my personal opinion. If a father is able to do let his kid also experience a 160+ deer because he has worked his tail off why is that bad for the kid? There are some that truley appreciate it.
