Im ready to stick some fish!!

I know I wont get to go deer hunting again this season,,, and my mind has turned to fish. At a place S. of Liverpool I went last sun. saw good schools of tilapia,,, but super spooky and I actually would not shoot as far as I would need to go to reach them. May try my comp. instead of recurve next time..
whenever they got close , a tiny movement would spook one, in turn all.

Considering making a foldable bank blind , painted ground color on bottom & sky on middle & top..... may work.
sometimes stinks being stuck on the bank,,, but if I wasnt, I wouldnt have a username

I've always been wanting to try this. Hopefully now that my buddy has his boat in working order we can get after some fish this summer.

I have been setting up my wife's old bow as a setup for me. Learned how to lengthen draw with twisting cable, but man does it strengthen the draw weight! Anyway, I am hoping the Bass Pro Gift card fairy comes this weekend so I can buy the AMS kit I think that should be a good kit for 150 bucks?

Does the kit have ..retriever, and a arrow for 150.00? It should be cheaper than that . The retreiver is about 85.oo I didnt get the pro,, its heavier.
and actually the retreiver is cheaper at BPS than Acadmy , thats a first , for me anyway

AMS retreiver. I used a hand wrap for a while and now after getting a retreiver would never go back. Spinners dont shoot as far as retreivere YMMV

I would like to learn to bowfish, it sounds like a lot fun, but I don't really have the money to sink into it yet.

you can get a cheap hand wrap reel & arrow for about 20, and just stick it on your bow to start, it is more fun than you may think
