Just put winner choice with custom colors on my 101st. They where $119.00 and they didn't charge to install them. If you get standard colors its about $30.00 cheaper. I like them so far, no peep twist and they look awesome. I'm still waiting too see if they stretch but my bow maxed around 74lbs when first installed.

The speed is the same but the factory speed beads didn't get moved and they say that's about 5 ft/sec. I Have ordered some string grubs to try, they should be in next week. As far as penetration I have way too much energy. A yellow jacket supreme bag wont stop my arrows. That cost me $40.00 before I went to get them out only to find they went through and into a concrete wall behind the bag. I plan on getting a 400fps target soon until then I can double up the bags.
As far as strings go I asked alot of guys around here what they have shot and what they like and the majority was winners choice. They come with a 1 year warranty and most guys said they got 2 to 2.5 good years out of them.

I'll build you a set for $60 shipped. I have been in business for over 15 years. I use 452X and always prestretch at 350# for 24 hours. WC strings are contract built and are made of 8125 which is known for its creep. Whatever, you do just don't let your factory set get too bad. Wax about every other shooting session will increase the life of your strings too...

There are several other string makers out there, just shop around and see what you like and what's in your price range. I use H&M bowstrings, has good pricing and I have had no problems, plus Mike is a good guy to deal with. Like I said though, search it and compare before ya committ...sorta like when ya buy a bow

You can read more about Robert's strings at http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=878402. I will probably try a set next time.
