    Bad Boy Buggy Review

Does anybody on here have a Bad Boy Buggy or any experience with one? Need any input on them that anybody could provide.

The Free Electric Car thread got me looking at them and now I am really interested, even though it does not sound like the Tax Credit will work this year for the Bad Boy.

    Thanks.

Only one I have been around seemed like it ate the batteries up pretty quick. Could have been bad batteries or some other little something

I looked at them before I bought a Kubota RTV 900. The dealer told me you had to replace the batteries every couple of years at about 700.00 a set. That was a enough for me to look at something else.

I thought the Feds issued a certificate on a couple of the Bad Boys? Do you mean the credit won't work for YOU this year or is not available?

I am interested in the reviews as well.

I have not personally owned one, but the people I know that have and clients all say they are junk- very over priced junk. Start out great, end up junk in short time, even if babied!

To me they are a golf cart on roids...not good enough imo!

That is true, so far they have not produced or delivered a single one that meets the requirement from what I understand.

This program is a case of Buyer Beware.

We have two of them on our ranch, it is only 460 acres and the ranch house sits in the middle of it, they are pretty handy for a small place and very quiet, I would not even consider one for a large place with a lot of elevation.

I have not had any problems with mine. The place I hunt most of the time is 5000 ac so I might be driving 7 or 8 miles out to a stand and then back. So far I'm pleased with mine

We've owned two of them and have not had any problems with the batteries. It's great on smaller ranches and is nice due to the quietness of it. Over time though, it starts to get pretty noisy from the squeaks if you don't take care of them. Even though we have one, I think they are overpriced and they aren't very smooth riding.

all you pay for is the stupid name. Why not buy a good golf cart and put big tires and camo wrap and that would be alot cheaper then paying for a stupid name.

My FIL has one. His place is 3600 acres. He only uses it to go to and from the blind, maybe dropping off one or two other people on the way. So far no problems. This is his first year with it. They are very quiet, and great for approaching the blind. If you want it to take people out sight seeing or to work out of, I would suggest going with somethign else.

For the price they are, if you are willing to pony up that money for it in the first place, then $700 every few years shouldn't be a concern. If you cant afford $700 every few years, you cant afford the buggy in the first place.

Starts off great. but swiftly goes to junk. This is a letter I sent to BB without a response, And OH the right batteries are way more than $700

(6)Left rear axle broke at wheel. Another real nice recovery effort (Recent)
                              (7) forward/neutral switch went out @ 6 months
