Ok I do think he was a bit over the top, but at my lease we have rules just like it sounds like they do on this family place. If rules and regs are set and agreed apon then I think they should be followed. Just my opinion.
What I'm saying is we dont know the whole story. For example who pays the feed bill, who makes the rules, who owns the land, ect........ I'm not agreeing with the uncle just sayin.

Kinda what I was thinking. If there are no rules or agreements in place and the uncle isn't footing the bill or the owner of the land then he has no right to be upset. If there ARE rules or agreements in place or if the uncle is the landowner or is the one footing the bill.........it is up to the adult to teach the kid to follow the rules. Just my opinion. We obviously don't know the whole story.
First of all congrats to your son and next feed the back strap to you and your son and the horns to your uncle. Sounds to me as if the uncle did not want the horns wasted on a kid and that my friend just is not right.
