I have an 06 150 2wd. I did a 2.5 autospring (89 bucks to your door). On the 2wd's a 2inch levels and 4wd a 2.5 levels. I went with a 2.5 and added a 1 inch block in the rear. Very easy to do yourself. Go to f150online. c o m and go to the forums. lots of info there.
Basically with a 4wd, you can do 2.5 in the front and fit 35's on it. My set up...2wd, 2.5, 1 rear, 33's.

They both have coils for the hemi and cummins motors.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack.

Go on and get you a 3" suspension lift and be done with it. Then you wont have all these leveling kit issues. One thing i will tell you is, i have had several leveling kits, all the way to 6" suspension lits. Any time you lift a truck either way the rear will sag with added weight, like said above bags will help that problem.

for those with the 2wd f150 from 2004 up to at least 2009, you can use the stock blocks and bolts off of a 2wd of the same time frame in the back for the 1.5 inch lift.
For those with 4wd who want rear lift, you will need an aftermarket kit or just go with add-a-leaf kits...that will strengthen your rear suspension and give you a couple inches of lift in the rear at the same time.
DaveC, if you replace the blocks and bolts, save them for one of the 2wd drive guys. that is how I got mine, from someone who did a lift.

everybody do yourself a favor and call an offroad shop that does this stuff everyday...there have been some not so good suggestions and some good ones.
i have done at least 75-100 trucks with different leveling kits or lift kits...not sayin i know it all...but enough to help
rear kit- blocks and u-bolts...easiest cheapest way to do it (DO NOT STACK BLOCKS)
front...torsion keys for 4wd trucks ( 2 inch lift on most)
2wd...(some still need torsion keys) coil spring spacer...anywhere from 1"-2.5" most 2-2.5" kits require extended shocks....
whatever anyone tells you the front kit WILL wear out stuff quicker...if you keep an eye on it it will be fine...if its installed correctly you will have close to the same ride and for you dodge guys the death wobble is in the alignment...not the kit.
air bags in the rear? sure..they are nice...but why put something on there that will wear out overtime when you can put an add-a-leaf or a superspring that you never have to worry about again?
there is alot more to answer...just call to somewhere that has been doin this for years..you dont want to go off what some guy said to do that has done it on one or two of his own trucks...every truck is different and every brand is different...nothin against anyone just dont wanna see someone tear up their truck over bad advice or spend wasted money...it can get expensive in a hurry
