IPhone Insurance question..

Hmmm.. I didnt pay for any insurance with the phone. Dropped it in the livewell( actually it fell out of my shirt pocket). Took it to apple and they let me buy a new one for $199.00.

I am not sure about the insurance. but if you get a Iphone get the OtterBox for it. I have had mine for about 4 months now and i have dropped it about 6 times and stepped on it twice. No cracks or anything....great cover and probably the cheapest ins at $49.

The otter box has an opening for the speakers.

Not really thru me, as for I'm not a dealer, but I can go to any AT&T store and buy yall blue tooths, cases, chargers, etc for half price. We could meet up or send me money plus shipping. Either way, it'll save you a couple of bucks.

If you have Germania, you can add the COMPUTER endorsement to your house insurance and it gives the phone physical damage coverage. Cost me less than 10 bucks a year.

Many people checked with their companies and most did not offer this. It is not on a floater like jewelry,etc... but is a COMPUTER endorsement. It has a 100 ded. unlike the 0 ded on a floater. It will not cover regular cell phones but the smart phones- iphone, bb,etc.

The phone would be covered for more than just theft as mentioned above. If would be covered for dropping it, running it over, just about anything other than mechanical failure....

FWIW, State Farm will not cover the iPhone at all, or so my agent tells me.

Go to best buy and get one they have an insurance plan for about $15 a month that will replace it. We just got my wife one there because she is hard on phones.

I think he's talking about when you have it in the holster that comes with it. The screen is supposed to face in towards your body, not outwards.

Love the Otter Box - thought the belt clip was junk till just now. Holds good when you face the screen in .

Like a dummy it took me a couple days to realize how clip worked properly. Grooves are not in middle so clip on works one way

If you drop it and the glass breaks it 199.00 to replace glass. They offered me a new phone for the same price got the new phone
