Same here. We spray unsented off on our boots and legs. Keeps the chiggers down about 90% of the time.

Buzz Off Clothing - I haven't had a chigger or tick since wearing it (5 years)

Stuff works and there are now some competing brands

Since 1856, Orvis has offered our customers distinctive clothing, the world's finest fly fishing rods and tackle, upland hunting gear, dog beds, luggage, and unique gifts.

I do that all the time, our property has chiggers and they love me. I just filled an old gym sock with sulfur and pat down my legs and shoes with it. There's a product called Chiggerid that helps stop the itching, clear nail polish works too. I usually claw them bloody first, the burn of the polish feels better than itching.

I was told that if you get chiggers on you, you can get that stuff to get rid of lice in your hair and it is suppose to work. All I do it wait until they are in, scratch the tops of the bumbs off and rub alcohol all over it, this seems to kill them little buggers and I don't itch anymore. But from keeping them off me, well I don't know that secret yet, hate to put stuff on me during deer season the deer seem to be able to smell anything with a bug repelent in it. Maybe one of those condoms that will cover the whole body will protect ya.

When you get in from the woods run a bath and add a cup of bleach and soak awhile. Best remedy I know of.

Use Absorbine Junior on the chigger bites... it stops the itch and kills the little rascals. I spray deep woods off on my pants, legs and socks before going

Spraying my pant legs and boots with Deep Woods Off does the trick for me.

The chiggers tore me up yesterday while I was dove hunting. I guess I should have read this post first. Thanks for everyone's input!

The best thing that worked for me was putting flea and tick collars around my ankles on my boots...It works like a charm..
