Some positives: He has a good "over-all" look to him. And I like the fact that you don't have a bunch of "gunk" all around the eyes like a lot of mounts have. Hair patterns seem to be right. How long have you been doing taxidermy? How many mounts (guesstimate)?
Please be my guest... you in particular, hold a talent that I would like to critique my work. As far as how long? I started messing around in '98 at age 11. First deer mount in '99. Micro business since then. Its more of a supplemental income to get me through high school and college. I love doing it and it has saved me a ton in taxidermy bills. Bottom line is that I try to make my last mount better than the one before. Ive done about 30 something deer over the years. I didnt get ok at it until about '04. I closed my business off to the public after freshman year of college in '06, it was too much work and travel. Now I do it for repeat clients and referrals only. only about 12 mounts a year allows me to have a social life...

Don't know how you could say anything bad about that.
Great mount and I love the mesquite base!

Great job and for your young age you could have a heck of a business one day.
