I buy them in Uvalde at the Oasis Outback. I don't know where else you can get them at. Just look for a load that has MAX DRAM and is High Brass and you will be just fine......
I shoot the Remington Sure Shot heavy dove.. It seems to do the job and it isn't the cheapest stuff out there but it is not the most expensive either.. I do it with a 20 gauge
Just my opinion, but if you need to shoot high brass loads to kill doves, then you probably need to spend more time at the range.
When I bought my 1100 the man give me a case of older Remington Mohawk loads. I couldn't miss with them. Last year I shot nearly a box for every bird i killed with the Wally World specials. Maybe your right, I need to just practice more.

I would not bet on that one buddy..... The dove fields are my shooting range. I run dove hunters almost everyday of the dove seaon and can shoot my limit well within a box of shells. I just love high brass because to me they shoot allot better especially on the blue sky days.
I shoot AA and have been happy with them for years. Had #9 AA in the truck one day after work and had a great day in the field. Been shooting them every sense. I think they are more consistant and therefore shoot better as far as leads.
Winchester AA a good load, plus the hulls are awesome to reload. I buy them when I need to new hulls to reload. Can't beat handloaded shells. Don't really save money nowdays......get a hotter shell for about the same price.
