Any updates? Who took home the fat stacks?? Today's wind was brutal, so whomever won it surely earned it!

Today was the actual shootout finale and WOW what a show!! For those of you that weren't there, you missed out on a great shootout. Our hopes were that this format would create a level playing field for all classes of shooters. Every shootout was as close as it gets...

The winners for each division were seeded into the bracket by their combined scores for both days.

#1 Braden Gellenthein, Mathews Pro vs #8 Michelle McKenzie, Womens Traditional

#2 Tristan Skarvan, Womens Scopes vs #7 Ryan Ramsey, Mens Traditional

#3 Rodger Kuhl, Seniors vs #6 Lindsey Jenkins, Womens Pins

#4 Blake Kreck, Mens Scopes vs Toby Ragsdale, Mens Pins

In the 1st round Braden narrowly edged Michelle by 48 to 47. Two of Michelle's 9's were less than a 1/16 of an inch out. Immediately everyone knew that this was going to be a a tight competition.

Round 2 Toby Ragsdale defeated Blake Kreck 49 - 45.

Round 3 Tristan beat Ryan with a score of 48 -47

                          Round 4 Lindsey narrowly defeated Rodger 47 and 2 x's to rodger's 47 and 1 x!!

Next Braden shot a 48 with 1x, Toby shot just a bit better. 48 and 2x's!!

Tristan defeated Lindsey 48-46, Setting up the Finals and Semi Finals

3rd place and $500 would go down to Braden Gellenthein or Lindsey Jenkins. Braden took the money home with a 49 and 3x's to Lindsey's 45.

Now we need to settle 1st and 2nd with $3000 and $1500 riding on the line...

                          Toby shot a 47 and 2 x's to Tristan's 47.

What a performance for all our competitors!! As you can see the scores were very tight. Showing that ANYONE had a chance to win, regardless of their division. I was so glad to be a part of this and watch these great shooters in action!! Thanks to everyone who came out, braved the weather and supported this new format.
