Directions:

If you'd like to visit the range, check our shoot schedule page to see when the range will be open. Then take I-45 South to the FM 2004 exit. Take FM 2004 past the Gulf Greyhound track and go about 2 miles to Jack Brooks Park. Turn right into the park and follow the road to the first stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign and follow the signs until you come to the gate marked Salt Grass Archery Club. We look forward to seeing you there!

UPDATE!!!

The last shoot of the season is on the 27th and 28th of August. There will be a hog hunt raffle, food, games and the end of season Awards Ceremony. The awards ceremony will be at 3:00. Scorecards must be in by 2:00.

First place winners in divisions with more than three shooters will receive plaques.
First place winners in divisions with less than 3 shooters will receive pins.
First place winners in all divisions will receive a Salt Grass T-shirt.

You must shoot in the final shoot to qualify for a plaque.

Just a note about the ants. There is a massive infestation of crazy rasberry ants at the range. These ants, while a nuisance, do not bite. They have an affinity for electrical and electronic equipment, but from what I learned researching them, they are basically harmless to people. I am trying to get in touch with the parks department regarding the ant infestation, but have been unable to reach anyone yet.
