I would like to thank the LSBA! MR. and Mrs. Kana for all of there hard work that they put in and all the surrounding area clubs that put on LSBA shoots this year! I think todays course was excellent as all the courses have been! I just wanted to say thanks to all of ya'll for ya'lls hard work and dedication to the sport that we all love!!!! I would also like to congradulate all the winners today!!! I am good friends w to of the shooters that won buckles today! My buddy and shooting partner Michael Gould won Male Bowhunter and Brad Poinsett won Male Bowhunter senior div! Way to shoot guys congrats to you both!!!! I work with both of these guys and they are both as nice and friendly as can be! They can both shoot the Heck out of a bow as well!!!! Oh yeah saw one of the most amazing shots ever fella hit a deer target at 92 yrd. with a long bow and put it about 4" from bullseye!!! Wow was all I could say!!!!

I might not have one the State Championship in Male Recurve, but I did win the State Championship in the Kana house hold.
        Dena Kana 113
        Bobby Kana 179

When you are shooting against guys like Cody Erickson, and his day Melvin, you have to take what you get. Winning the Kana championship is almost as good as winning State. Besides, if she beat me, I could never live it down.

Thanks Axisbuck24, I practiced long and hard to win this championship.

Also, my other post should have read Cody and his dad Melvin, not his day Melvin.

See that is why I was late this morning, and why I had my times all messed up. Been out at sea to long.

Thanks to Brazoria County Bowmen for hosting the LSBA State Shoot. Been awhile since I had been there, knew it was a great property, but forgot just how nice of a range you lucky people have there! You guys put a lot of work in to make your place what it is, and it shows. Great job to all involved.
Thanks to Dena and Bobby Kana and LSBA for all the hard work put in to the entire 3-D season.
Congrats to all the winners and all who showed up to brave the heat to take part and shoot.
Congrats to Male Bowhunter winner Mike Gould, good shootin!!!!
Nice shooting with you Dillon and Scott, it was a pleasure to share the stakes with you.
Dillon congrats on a well deserved 2nd, good luck in your 4-H shoots this year too!!!!!
Thanks DDS for your kind words, and also the pics you posted up.
Now to get busy finishing my preparation for the ASA Classic coming up in just a couple of weeks. Should be a good one, can't wait.
Till next year LSBA, thanks again for a great 3-D season.
