I wasn't gonna shoot this weekend based on temps alone, but what the heck...
To be club champion you have to be a member and shoot 2 shoots plus the championship. But you could come see a good range and a preview of what state may be like

Can I shoot one of these?- Proficiency: Successful completion of
      a proficiency test, dated May 1, 2009
or later, with a score of 80% or more is
required. The test must be taken on a
      standard IBO course (10-8-5-0 scoring)
with no target more than 30 yards and
      a minimum of 14 targets. A tournament
scorecard, signed by a tournament range
officer, will suffice as proof of proficiency.

If you want to shoot and score using IBO scoring , I can give you an IBO card . I will sign off for you and anyone else who needs to get qualified.IBO scoring is (center 11-10-8-5-0-) horns and hooves are 0. Our Blue stake is setup at 30 yd max so you will be set.

We shoot for medallions at Club Shoots. ASA State will be for Money and buckles. The only shooters that are competing for the Championship are club members and it is their 2 score avg. from club shoots plus the championship score. High total is Club Champion. Here is a pic of the Champion award

Thanks to everyone who came out today. We had 61 shooters and crowned 8 Club Champions. Congrats to :
                      Steve Webb -open
                      Micheal Brinkley - unlimited
                      Mike Tharp - hunter
                      Kelli Rodgers - womens hunter
                      Todd Pool - traditional
Jake Crawford - young adult 15-17
                      David Gabeheart - eagle 9-12
                      Hunter Brinkley - 8-under

We had several close battles and the course today made many shoot a little below their averages. Those who shot near or higher than their avg came out on top. Thanks for a great year of club shoots and I hope many more will join and go for it in 2011.
