The "Windy Nationals" was on a huge, barren, treeless cattle ranch.
Same weekend the Space Shuttle blew up over Texas.
could have been...my CRS has accelerated since then.
That was the same for 3 years in a row - except for the Shuttle. Every year, 20-40 mile an hour winds and temps ranged from the 40's to the 60's for highs. I never thought I'd be that cold again, but I was wrong - camp out in a non-heated dome tent in September at 11,000 feet.
Windy Nationals - I'll never forget it. I did learn how to shoot in some fercious winds, though.
Dr. Death - I am so sorry I missed this shoot. I really wanted to come, but I had to get my pastures disc'd and I only got 1/2 of that done before it set to raining. Since I've been out of town so much, Steve really needed me home to fix fences and clear some brush. So that was Sunday for me.
Thanks to all the brave souls who made it out. Hope everyone had a great time and look forward to seeing you out at the range again. Thanks to Mike and Tracy for all the hard work.
