What is your price range? Do you think you will stick with Trad archery? I believe in buying good equipment the first time even if it is used. You can look on some of the other Trad sites for bows for sale or call The Footed Shaft. Lamont has about 200 used bows at any given time and he wont steer you wrong. He knows mre about bows and broadheads both old and new than most . 188-288-7581

If you want new, the best value is the Quinn Stallion, under $300

There are manufactored bows and there are custom bows both have their place. Find a shop or go to a trad shoot and find one that fills good in your hand there are all kinds and sizes of risers. The next question do you want a 1 peace are a T/D. 1 peace are usully less expensive but you have one draw weight,T/D's cost more but you can have several sets of limbs.

there are also a ton of great bows that sell for around $200 used
I track Wings on eBay and there is a new RedWing Hunter listed almost every day
also, there are some great classified boards for trad bows

I second Cptn Jack, give David Quinn a call and get a Stallion. Great bows to start with and David and Peggy are great people to deal with too. Sold hundreds of them when I had my shop. Only thing I'd suggest is wrapping the grip with leather. Pretty easily done. I did a bunch in the shop. Makes it look cool too!

Good luck with what ever you choose. Take care.
