    Helical fletching?

My new Blitzenburger jig is a right helical. In the directions it says you need "right wing feathers." I have no idea what mine are. Is this a necessity?

Absolutely makes a difference. I may have a spare left wing clamp, have to look.

It looks like I have right wing feathers, so I should be good to go!

If the flat quill sticks out to the right as you glue it on, it is a left wing feather. If it sticks out to the left, it is a right wing feather.

          Hope this helps.
