    Homemade Broadhead Adapter Redesign

    I promise - This is it !

I'm ordering some T6 6061 aluminum to build them out of.

    Adapter OAL - 3/4"

    Adapter head - 1/4"

    Adapter taper - 5 degrees for 1/2"

Adapter last 1/4" of taper threaded to 8-32

Adapter goes into broadhead - 1/2"

Adapter goes over shaft - 7/16"

    8-32 All Thread - 2-1/16"

8-32 All thread bottoms out in ferrule "snugly"

8-32 All Thread goes into shaft - 1-5/16"

    Weight - 80 grains

Combined with Jerry Hill Killer broadhead - 275 grains

I couldn't stand it, and had to see how my new adapter works.

The glue sucks it all down real tight, and no tweaking for alignment required.

It spins perfect from the get go.
Any wobble you see is just me shaking.

This is my latest/last broadhead adapter build. Think I'm stuck on this one. :-)

I got some T6-6061 aluminum rod in today to build these out of.

Couldn't stand it, and had to build one with the new material.

Way stronger, and actually make them easier to build.

Hey Rick, shoot me your address. I'd like you to try your hand at making a finger tab with some warthog skin.
