Week 14 2023 First Shot Challenge

Were hunting Barbee Turkey this week!

Everybody shoots seated.
Adults shoot from 13 yards and kiddos from 6 yards.
Three days to submit first shot of the day.
Measure edge of shaft to aim point.

Yesterday morning I called in 5 Toms using a Wet Box call. I had one Tom come within 5 yards. Ive been practicing for years calling and mimicking my farm turkeys. Well, years of practing payed off. We were shotgun hunting. This weekend Im going to try shooting one with my longbow. The birds didnt seem to like my decoys but kept coming towards my purrs and clucks.

Right at 3/4” or so. Your arrow looks a smidgeon closer than DRTs. Youre in the lead Lady.
