String Nock thread for Halo Serving

All my strings are D97. I'm using Halo for serving. What's your preferred material for tying a string nock on Halo?

    BCY Polygrip?
    BCY Powergrip?
BCY Nock Point and Peep Tying thread?

I use B55 and seal it with wicking super glue.

Any of the serving material with a tight fitting movable knot will work. Some say use same size material as serving to easily tune the nock up and down the string. I use red BCY serving.021.

I would have thought that would be the last choice of the three, and here are two sages of archery wisdom calling it Numero Uno.

I find Polygrip works, but the 0.025" thread I have yields a rather thickish nock set.

What is the benefit of "nock tying thread" to Powergrip?

I’ve never used Powergrip, so wouldn’t know how to answer your question??? All I know is, I use Halo serving and the BCY Nock Tying Thread works great for tied on nock points that never move on their own, but are easily moved when needed for tuning.

Smaller and more uniform knot that isn't as "finicky". I would have one different from the other tightness wise. I couldn't get them consistent.

I been using Halo with success for my tied kick points. I like to go one size larger than the serving so it doesn’t dig in to the serving.

Lots of good suggestions. I have some "no name" red serving thread that I got maybe 20 years ago. It's just nylon, problaby about .017". Used that and it works better than my 0.021" polygrip which is just too thick for the task.

This is crochet thread from walmart.

Same materiel, and about the same size as #4 nylon serving.

                        Either will work just fine.

How do you get an .021 bead of poly grip, and how does that little bit hold your teef in????

I have used dental floss on an existing serving that was WAY too small for the nocks. I just put one wrap between the string nocks and tied it off both ends with a regular old knot. Fit was good and lasted for hundred of shots till I got it reserved.
