Week 10 2023 First Shot Challenge

Draw or print a hog on a piece of printer paper oriented landscape.
Draw the vitals (lungs and heart) and place an aim point in the heart. (My heart may be a bit high. Jr is at a cousins for a sleep over and I got commissioned for the target submission of his choosing.)
    Shoot from any position.
    Adults shoot from 17 yards.
Kiddos shoot from 7 yards. Jr said 16 yards and I said “Youre crazy”.
Measure edge of shaft to aim point.
    Shoot up to 5 days.
    Closest measure wins.

    Good skilling and God bless!
    Have a great week Shooters.

(Please forgive the oversized pics. My landscape orientation posting isnt fine tuned.)

I printed it. I've shot tiny pigs before. Ham sammiches.

              Day 1: 1 5/8”

I shot a piglet with my Sarrels Lynx recurve a couple years ago during GRXH. I was in the flood timber and kept hearing noises like little barky dogs off in the distance. Kinda windy and figured the sound might just be blowing in from off WMA but the sound kept getting closer and closer. There was a group of three piglets running around the flood timber…and theyd get close then scoot off elsewhere then circle back around. Darn funniest thing. They ran off through some thicket but then I heard the tiny barking and knew they were coming back. 15 yards off they appeared out of the thicket. Thwack. I earned my right to wear my GRXH patch right side up. Little bugger fit just right in a dutch oven.

                        Shot 2 for me…

Never leave anything laying around an archery shop that you don’t want to be altered.

It's like if they are under 50 years old all guys act like they are 12.
