The most recent arrows I have lost have been from shots on a prone squirrel. One feeding prone below foot down hill. One above head on side of a tree. I hate losing 300 grain broadheads or any broadhead at that and no dead squirrel.
Draw a side view of a tree rat in the prone.
Front to back, nose to rear… 9”.
Body about 1 3/4” high. Head about 1 1/4” high.
Place your aim point where you deem appropriate.
Place your target squirrel below knee level to include below foot at any angle you choose.
Only strikes on body count for measure.
Line riders get measured…tail not included.
Measure edge of shaft to aim point.
Adults shoot from 16 yards.
Kids shoot from 8 yards.
Best measure of 3 days first shot wins.
Have a great week and good skilling Shooters.
God bless!
