    Look what i found!!!!!

I have looked at Alaska Bow Hunting Supply at their Ashby head, and other single beveled heads but don't want to pay $90, and i want a glue on. I stumbled upon this site today and I am pumped!!! Only half the price and from what I tell only very, very small differences in quality. The only thing that could make it better is if they had a 160 grain head, but i guess i could go down to 145. Either way i can't wait to get some and try them out.

I have some of these heads and have been shooting them for a year or so now. when you order you have a choice of a 35 grain adapter or a 100 grain screw on adapter if you want to use them in a screw on method. You can get a 160 head that way. Hard to get popping sharp but once there one must be extremely careful.

As far as performance goes they destroy all foam targets in about three shots. Still waiting to try one on a pig. Hope they work for you.

How do you sharpen them? The only way that I think would be a REALLY good way is Lansky kit. How do you do it????

And let me clarify. I am no slouch with a stone and steel but i don't want to affect the bevel at all. Sharpening tips?

I hear there running bear I could always put on a good edge with a stone and a free hand just like dad and grandad taught me. Let me rephrase that "It took a while to get them to hair popping" I used my KME sharpening system and it worked great. I had to basically reset the bevel to the KME degree cant remember what it is off hand. Once that was done all I ave to do is hit'em a few licks and there popping again.

Grizzly broadheads are a bear to get sharp, but it is an excellent head and not very expensive. Very durable too.

Stos is also another excellent broadhead.

Both broadheads can be bought at one place, Braveheart Archery.
