ID:	26648979 Saw a bunch of deer this morning. Half a dozen doe at a time and three young bucks. However after they all left I had this big buck come in. He was close. Like 5 yards. Head shot cut off part of his ear.
Yes Malachi, a broadhead does work for a "skwerl".

Wow. They’re crafty and hard to shoot with any weapon. Nice work!

I am finally on the board this year. Had a few swings and misses earlier in the season and had really been questioning my abilities.

Arrived at my property late last night and checked the camera to see that this buck had been a frequent visitor recently.

He came in this morning about 6:50 and I took a shot at about 7:05. I shot right over his back at 14 yards. He ran off about 20 yards, and started looking around. At this point I was contemplating quitting archery.

To my surprise, the buck then decided to come back to the corn. 20 minutes later he worked his way around and give me another broadside shot at 14 yards. This time I made it count.

I saw the arrow disappear right in the center of the V behind the shoulder. As he ran off and I could see the arrow barely hanging in the off-side cavity.

Blood was sparse/non-existent, and I ended up calling a dog in. It was a quick search that ended 200 yards from the shot.
