    Spliced Feathers

Any one on here do them? Looking to get a custom set made. Did a search but nothing has came up.

I've done it in the past (when I was hooked on feathers).

It's not that hard to do, but you need a good feather burner to do it.

    Edit:

I don't do it, but I'm pretty sure most of the custom arrow builders will do it for you.

Is there any arrow builders here in Texas you would recommend? I have been talking to a few guys out of State but wanted to see if there was anybody around here that did it.

Not that I know of. Sorry.

That don't mean there aren't any though.

What is the benefit of spliced feathers?

          Good luck MrGitNSum.

            None other than aesthetics.

Those in that pic you posted look like D&M Custom Arrows. I’ve bought arrows from Gary before. I do t think you can get them any better than what Gary builds!!!!!!

That’s is what I’m seeing. More of a work of art than a hunting arrow. I figured they would be worthy of my original German Kinetics 😳🤣🤣

They are very pretty. I use to really enjoy building attractive arrows, setting a goal, and making it happen. Now days if I’m shooting a curve cut past center I like a flipper rest and vanes. Just easy to clean and get back in the game without refletching. For me, most of the time when I run feathers through the goodies they end up being a hot matted mess. Vanes run under some water and press on. But feathers still hold a special place and I enjoy shooting them. The splice feathers are as purdy as they get.

I know a guy who builds arrows but don't know if he does spliced feathers. You might ask:
