    Using "No-Fingers"

What is everyones opinion of them? I want to be able to shoot without a tab and not having to wear a glove. Will you get a poor release from them becuase you "roll" the string? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Did that years ago. I rolled the string with No Fingers.

I think ya'll mean "No-Gloves". They are great for bowfishing and such, never had much luck with them on my hunting bows. Kept rolling the string also.

My buddy shot them on a bow I sold him (had set it up for bowfishing) and finally switched over to a bare string with a tab/glove. I am with Old Goat1 and gatorgar, rolled the string too much for hunting but I have had them on every bowfishing bow I have ever had since I found out about em!

I'm with the rest.... I don't see them being to great for a hunting rig, but I have them on my bowfishing rigs.

Yeah, I was just hoping to pick up the bow and not have to have anything strapped to my hand like a glove or tab. Guess I could just build up the fingers.

And yes I meant no glove...no fingers would be tricky

I used them on my hunting bow for a couple of years back in the early 70s. I couldn't get as clean a release as I wanted so I went bare fingers. After a couple of years my fingers were larger at the tip and I could put cigarettes out on the tips of my fingers. Couldn't feel much of anything. I also believe you can get a smoother release with a tab than you can with bare fingers.
I don't even use the no gloves for fishing anymore. I usually wear leather gloves with the finger tips cut out on my shooting hand.
