    new string

I just got a new string in the mail for my longbow. I just strung it up and have not done any twisting and the bow is braced at 6 3/4. I will be breaking it in and then I will determine the best brace height for it. It seems to have less handshock and might even be a little quieter. I don't think that it is any quicker but I wasn't to worried about that. This string is a B50 instead of fastflight. A little thicker too, which the last one was pretty skinny.

B50 does a lot more stretching than FF

Yes it does, you will have to shoot and twist it several times before it settles in.

thanks guys. I shot it several times the other day. Still hasn't moved much. Should I start twisting now or wait until it stretches more?

Wait till it stretches. Then adjust it.
