It was kinda dark and hard to see but I think I am with the other guys in suggesting that perhaps you holding arm is not straight enough. I know with a compound bow most folks shoot with a slightly bent elbow. I do not recommend it with trad equiptment. As far as not holding long enough, do what works. I am cross dominant eyed (crosseyed) and if I hold to long my eyes are fighting over control. I just try to hit the same spot on my face each time. As soon as my middle finger brushes my mustach ( thats why I don,t shave it off) I release. I preaim my arrow, draw to the stach and cut her loose. Don,t do so good on the 3 d circuit but eat most of what I shoot at.
