plan on 6 mths and be religious with your therapy if you have to have acromioplasty and cuff repair. you will not know the extent until you discuss your mri with your doc then you will know if you even need it vs subacromial injection and therapy.
I recently had shoulder surgery - just a debridement. Out from Dec 18, pretty much cleared for full activity after 8 weeks. For a tear (any size) in my rotator cuff, I was told 6 months.
