First Trad Kill

Although it isn't much, I got my first trad kill tonight about 6:50. Made a "short" stalk and made a great 10 yard shot.





Maybe his buddies will get the picture and stop eating my flowers!!!

Way to go! Rabbit hunting with a trad bow can be real fun. I've wasted many hours flinging arrows at rabbits. They eat pretty well also.

Only way to know if you are ready is to start flinging arrows. It will be a while until I take it to hunt deer.

what happened to your fletching???

Got blood on them and pinned them back. I am hoping I can clean them up but this arrow may be put in the closet for sentimenatal value.

I don't mind "loosing" arrows when animals die in the process. As for the bacon...........I might have changed the game plan and will try to take BOTH hogs with my Samick.
