    Browning Mohawk Year Produced

Picked this bow up this weekend. Piecing together from different searches year produced. Anyone confirm this bow made in 64 or 74? Assuming the 1st number the year produced.

    Browning Mohawk, 4K542, 30#, 54”
Cool little bow in really nice shape. Shopping for a string now. Any recommendations for string?

Don’t know on year model, but you better stick with a Dacron B50 or B55 string.

The glass color says early sixties. 3M made some glass in that color in about 1960 or 1961. Damon Howatt used it in the very early sixties. I haven't bothered to learn any of the Browning history as my interest has been confined to Bear and Howatt bows. Some of the old timers on the Leatherwall can pinpoint the year exactly for you.
