Need some help

I have a friend who just lost her Father and after going through his things they came across this... She is not a bow person at all . From what she knows this is a 1970 Hoyt ProMetalist TD... It is still in its case and has never been shot. It has 2 sets of limbs...38-40 and 41-43... She would like to know what it might be worth and if any one is interested in it... The only thing is she is in New York....









any info about it would be great..

Here' an idea for you-it'll also be telling my age but oh well. I've earned my scars so to speak. In 1967-8 I bought a Bear HC 300 model, 72" long w/ a 3' stabilizer and paid $300.00 for it. (Big big money back then).
Hoyt even then was top of the line and if I remember right that particular model was about $400.00 with a single set of limbs.
With the extra set and the condition that they appear to be in now? I'd say collectors would pay a small fortune for them but I would definitely tell your friend to do some 'serious' research' and don't just trust anyone to 'sell' them for her.

That could be a very special bow if it is in such great condition.

For sure it would be of interest to some collectors. Sorry, but I have no idea what it could be worth.

its left handed, so its useless to about 85% of us. I'm sure there is someone who knows its value on stickbow or tradgang.
