Low poundage Recurve

My wife is now looking for a somewhat custom recurve does any of the traditional brethern have any older bows they might be willing to sell?

Have you tried Ebay? There are quite a few low poundage production type bows on there.

I've got a couple of good #45lb. recurves that I'd let go real cheap. I've purchased too much stuff from Ebay and haven't gotten in to selling on Ebay yet. Will your wife be shooting right or left hand?

I have purchased used recurves through several sites. I make sure I use paypal or a credit card for payment. I have had to pull my payment back on a "collectors grade" recurve that when it arrived had stress cracks. I have only had one bad experience. I have had two I wasn't happy with and the sellers worked with me. I have had several I was very pleased with. There are some really nice used ones out there that are very fairly priced.
