I guess I just need to squat down like him..........

I shot last night and worked on slowing down and making each shot count along with the improvements that were mentioned above. I also noticed that I think part of my problem was holding the string too far back on my fingers. I moved it closer to the tips and started shooting better. I think I am still having a problem droping my bow arm after the shot but I can work on that later. I will keep at it as I know it will take practice. Too bad my brother can't shoot good either......

Here is one of my groups from last night at 10 yards. This is by far NO indication of my skill level at this time. Even a blind mouse finds cheese sometime!!!

Brandon, one thing that really helps is push/pull. A lot of folks will raise their bow arm fully extended. This takes a LOT of strength out of your shot. So, it forces the shot. Since you're not pushing forward when you release, your arm goes down. (Its got to go somewhere...) Shoulder tension cures this. Work on push/pull and your bow will stay inline with the target through the shot...

That's not a bad group. You might try bringing the block up to level so you won't be shooting downward..... (just a thought)
