Great info Rabbit. Thanks for sharing. Yesterday...I found my lost arrow from a deflected missed shot on a squirrel...one with the 175gn SwampRabbit Bunny Thumper Nut & Bolt Head...feathers are all matted but shaft and head no worse for wear...however Im still recouping and refraining from the matching bow. Ill prolly screw on some more nuts and beef the grains from 175 to 200 for pairing with my current set up. Super excited! Great interchangeable design SwampRabbit!

You found your arrow! That's awesome. I remember when you said you lost it.

I'd love to make claim to that design, but alas, I lifted the concept from somewhere on some other site or forum. I did post it here with pics, etc... but that was my only contribution.

They are still my favorite head on rabbits. Absolutely deadly and indestructible (and if you managed to break one... it only cost you like 25 cents.)

I've usually shoot at their head. The eyes & nose make a good focal point, but that little round tennis ball size head is pretty easy to focus on.

Of the bazillions I have killed, I could count on my fingers & toes (with fingers & toes left over) the number that have moved before the arrow got there. Yeah, I know it happens, but normally if I miss the head it's my fault, not the rabbits.

Up your nose with a rubber hose, rabbit ... or carbon hose, as the case may be.

I couldnt let it ride and had another go. Still...not a SwampRabbit approved kill shot.

I got the Bunny Thumper beefed up to 200gn ish with just one more nut and some hot glue.
