That'a a very impressive 1st longbow buck, Mesquite. That 2nd pic with you in the background is really cool too.

      Congrats,

Thanks, luckly my brother in law was there to take those pics. I was impressed with the cedar arrow busting thru the shoulder and lodging itself in the opposite shoulder. Very cool!

Way to go Peanut! I can't even find a spike buck to shoot at on our lease this year. There is still time left and I will be going back though.

                      Congrats again,

                      Bisch

Dusty, I do like this recurve.
Bisch, thanks, I've drawn on some bucks but figured out they were hearing my tab on the string so now I'm hunting bare fingered.
Crazy thing is I shot this spike last week and hit him high thru the backstrap, trailed him 600 yards and lost the trail.
I figured that he survived and last night went one of my brothers blinds where I thought he might be going. Sure enough he shows up but was very spooky, as soon as I released, he whirled and I knew I hit him but had no idea where. Trailed him about 120 yards and I had hit him in the back of the neck and it penetrated thru to cut half this throat.
