But, what I'm wondering is the purpose of those squirrel tails on your target butt -- are they wind indicators or warnings to other squirrels that may meet the fate of your recent par-boiled dinner entrée?

I have a little flag on top of the target but for gauging the wind.

Only the target chewing squirrel's tails get to adorn the target but, and then only those that get shot with an arrow while in the act.

Day 2 (15 yds): King, 8, and 2 of hearts -- all while trying for upper left corner Ace of diamonds. Possible flush in the making, with yesterday's 6 of hearts.

Day one and two for me. Had a rough day yesterday and didn't get to post up.

Anyways, day one.

9&6 of clubs.

Day two,

Queen of clubs
3 of diamonds
Jack of spades.

Looks like I'm shooting for a possible flush or a hard to get inside straight.

Well I got on paper but outside of the box around the cards. Shoot again, call the ace or what?

Well as it stands it looks like Ricks' only chance is with a pair of aces.
DRT has the best hand so far with a pair of 8's.
TT has a really good shot at a Heart Flush with two more arrows to go.
And I'm looking at a Club flush but my last two arras have got to be clubs.

Getting interesting.

In a poker game the betting would be getting really good right about now.
TT I'd be tossing some serious coin in the pot.

I hear ya.

After shooting at 15 yards I was thinking I might have called these shots a little long.
Oh well, it's supposed to be a challenge....good luck.

Didn't even pair up.

Definitely a game of luck, so far. Haven't quite hit but one card I was aiming at, but have managed to collect a few hearts in the neighborhood.
