2018 Trad Harvest Thread

This is my 40th year of bowhunting, shot this doe in a pea patch from a pine tree my wife and I planted 15 years ago on our own place. The rush I get from bowhunting is just as strong today as it was 40 years ago, you cannot buy this feeling at the drug store.

I got a nice 8pt at London Oaks Ranch this morning! It was nice and cool, and I pulled off a pretty dang good shot! Shot him with my Stalker longbow and the same ole FMJ arrows I always use!!!

Making this post for Chackworth. He was having trouble posting the pic. Chris got this doe on our McAlester ammunition plant hunt the weekend before last during a really rainy hunt. Congrats Chris on the doe and the free pass for next year.
