Myself and a couple buddies got on our deer lease last year. I'm the only bow hunter and it was already set up for rifle hunting so I did a lot of work all summer getting bowhunting spots ready. It's mostly mesquites with a few live oaks here and there so I made 3 cattle panel blinds. They worked pretty well but the only thing is after I hunted them a few times I realized a couple of them needed to be relocated slightly due to animals traveling differently than I expected. But since they were attached to t-posts I couldn't just up and move them without a lot of work. So I decided after the season was over I'd make frames for them. I finished my first one today. The next 2 will be slightly different. I put a floor and leg adapter on this one so I could elevate it if I wanted in the future.
I started with an octagon with a 16' perimeter but had to change one of the sides due to the 40" wide door.
Next I framed a doorway and added supports for the floor and posts to attach the panel to. After the leg adapters I was ready for the floor.
Cutting the plywood correctly and notching out the corner posts was a little tricky but I managed to make it work.
The blind itself didn't do well traveling from the lease to home so it was pretty bent out of shape but with a little help I managed to get it on the frame.
After I finally got the panel bent back into shape and wired to the frame I got the outdoor carpet and zip tied it around. I cut out the windows and spray painted it. I think it turned out pretty good.

The next 2 will be easier and less expensive because I'm just going to make the frame and posts to attach the panels to. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
