So here's another question...I usually use a red or green light for hunting at night. Looks like some of you guys are just using regular lights. Does it spook the pigs when you turn it on?

I run red. Rob from sniper hog lights had done a ton of research on what color spooks pigs the least. Red was the winner.

I've used red, green, and white. I've killed hogs using all 3 and I've had hogs spook using all 3. I use the green because it's easier for my eyes to adjust when I turn it on.

I keep my samick sage just for night hunting for hogs, bought a small stabilizer that has a hole in the middle of it to where you can nudge your tactical predator light in it and it sits in there perfect, don't have a pic but been using it for 3 seasons and works great

Thanks for all the tips. I've got a green light that I normally use, but I've always attached it to a shotgun or rifle. But I've got some corn souring and built a new ladder stand just for night hunting with my bow. I'll hang it and get my bait out next weekend, then see what shows up on camera and at what time. I'm going to start shooting my bow at night some this week with the light on it just to kind of get some realistic practice in before I hunt with it. I'm normally off Sunday and Monday and we have a good many pigs. Any of you that want to go that may not have a good place feel free to PM me and we'll try to go sometime this spring/summer.
