Boxer brief underwear. I personally like the Daluth brand but there are several good brands out there. The longer ones, 6 and 9 inch, are what I use for backpack trips with my scout troop.

Chaffing where? Only time I had chaffing was from the pads in tight football pants and few years ago being overweight my inner thighs used to a little. Powder didn't help some times it made it seem worse. Sweaty powder is bad um'k. I had to lose weight for it to go away.

This is the best stuff right here. I use it when running more than 4 miles and biking long ways as well. It's great and lasts a long time once applied. It's probably the most widely used anti chafing agent in the running/triathlon world.

I wear sliding shorts when hunting and it is hot. You need some thin and tight undies! Anywhere where skin is touching skin is a no-no when it is hot.

BCG brand underwear from academy is the best. I wear it when I am gonna be in the sun all day. It wicks moisture and keeps a slick feel and will keep your inner thighs from having skin to skin contact.

                        2nd that

I have used body glide to prevent chafing and ease the pain of chafed skin from when I didn't use it.

Powder before it happens but if it has already set in the Gold Bond Friction Defense stick works great. It's like deodorant.

Also moisture wicking underwear to prevent this from happening!
